Speed Ladder training

Back when I was playing high school tennis, my coach implemented using the speed ladder for our training regimen.  For beginners, you would start slowly to get used to it.  By the end of the season, my teammates and I could just blast through the ladder without messing up.  I kept the ladder training when coaching HS tennis.  Here is a good video of some of the ladder training techniques we used.

From this video, we used the “two in each”,”lateral two in each”, and “icky shuffle” drill. Another drill is to kareoke through(move your feet over and under to each box.)  This could be another footwork training drill to add to your personal regimen.

You could buy an actual speed ladder at such places as eBay, or make a DIY Speed ladder.

Or else you can go all out on this speed ladder!!!
